What was the highlight of The Lalit Jaipur

Jaipur is fascinating. Rich heritage, wealth of architecture & captivating traditions.

The hotel's location was near the airport - a 10/15 minutes drive without traffic. The room was spacious, however, the ID and furniture can be improved. Placing the wardrobe/closet in the bathroom was odd (in my opinion). The housekeeping did well with cleaning and refilling amenities, daily. The service at the Baluchi for breakfast and dinner was attentive, helpful and friendly. The local vegetarian dishes and a variety of bread (roti, dosa, idli, paratha) with accompaniments of delicious chutneys, sambar and curries were very good. I am supportive of local brands and businesses for travel and tourism. I commend Lalit Jaipur for providing job opportunities and hospitality careers to young people with disabilities.

No welcome drink and/or a warm/cold towel to feel welcomed and refreshed. During the entire check-in process, I did not feel I was valued as a guest. What irked me was the fact the hotel was not full and had the room ready. Instead, of offering an early check-in I was informed of an extra charge if I wished to get into the room before the check-in time. I booked a stay for 5 nights and informed the hotel of checking out at 6 AM - this should have been taken into consideration(?).

Breakfast buffet was lavish. Bed was comfortable. Room was spacious.

Seemed like the room had not been used in a long time, all the surfaces including the floors were full of dust, there were no hand towels and even after we pointed out they still cleaned it very superficially.. could see dust on the wooden floors under the chairs... hand towels were again not placed on the next day of our stay.. the hotel seemed extremely stingy on towels.. was frustrating to stay in a luxury Room Which was dirty and manage on tiny face napkins instead of towels... they gave us empty mini bar!!
